Step-By-Step Process

Rice hulls enter plant by pneumatic convey or by truck from other mills

Storage silos contain three-day fuel supply

Rice hulls are conveyed to boiler
and mix hulls with heated air, which fuels furnace

Furnace heats water in a surrounding boiler to create steam

Steam drives turbine to create electricity

Rice hull ash is quickly removed from system to storage silos until packaged

Filtration
The filtration technology is expanding daily. Agrilectric produces a renewable quality filtration aid that has unique characteristics.

Insulation
The ash, with high amorphous silica content is utilized in the international steel markets as an insulator.

Absorbent
Based on the internal and external surface area, our products create an excellent absorbent for liquid spills.
